Moz is, along with the few other websites on the list, the best SEO website at the moment. It contains a lot of useful information and even some articles on other good SEO websites. It’s easy to use, comprehensible and always offer some good “how to” articles in order to teach you the basics of search engine and SEO. As for posting, Moz is frequently updated, usually one to two posts per week. This isn’t the most consistent, but hey, these articles are very well researched and you can learn much from them.
2. SearchEngineLand
SearchEngineLand or SEL is in range with the aforementioned SEO website. It’s one of the most powerful news sources in the world of search. SEL manages to bring us most accurate and well-written news, very fast. What I would say about their writing is that it’s stellar, although not good like Moz. Nonetheless, we’re glad that SEL is VERY frequently updated with new posts emerging couple times in a day. SEL is a great place to inform yourself about search or technology industry and is very well worth visiting.
3. SearchEngineJournal
SearchEngineJournal or SEJ is a great SEO website and is amongst the best SEO websites at the moment. What we like about SEJ is its content. It’s really full of many different articles, where you can find much about SEO, search engines, technology and “how to” articles. We also like that fine balance between strategical and tactical articles, which is great for those who want to slowly learn more about optimizing their website and work on their SEO skills. This website is updated two to three times a day; consistent enough for us.
4. SEOBook
SEOBook is all about SEO. Seriously. This website is full of information for those who want to read and educate themselves about SEO, which is the most important part of one website. SEOBook manages to bring us a fair amount of advice or new tactics regarding SEO. They are also on track with the new SEO trends which can be viewed on this website, along with their reviews and critics. SEOBook is a real online book, where you can learn much, but it’s updated one to three times a week, so it’s not that consistent.
5. SearchEngineWatch
We simply love the overall design of SearchEngineWatch (SEW). It’s beautiful websites with a lot of content in it and covers an insane amount of topics. SEL is probably a little more popular than this website, but this one packs quite a punch and is better executed in certain aspects. There are many sections of the website like Video, Development, Social, Analytics and they all boil down to SEO, which we like. There is so much going around, which you can read and still learn about basics of SEO. A great, comprehensible content and website.
6. SERoundTable
SERoundTable is another interesting SEO website, regarding not just SEO but overall technology. Why it’s interesting? Well, first we like its design which is stellar, and not overdone. Second, articles are simple, short and straight to the point. Third, it’s full of various content on topics like SEO, search engines, news, photos and much more. Although SERoundTable has that old-school look (which we like, as we said) it really packs a punch, with its consistent updates, numerous times during the day.
7. SEOChat
SEOChat is focused on informing the users about SEO in a different way than other SEO websites. As its name says, SEOChat connects their users into a community that is devoted to developing various SEO tools or help you with your problems regarding SEO. Aside from engaging and informative articles, SEOChat offers a free sign up and registering to the forum. Their forum is great and really helpful, with more than 30 000 topics! There are also some topics related to a discussion of some of the leading social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube. The forum even offers you some ways to earn money, which we leave for you to see, but we can say that these are pretty effective.
12. TopRankBlog
TopRankBlog is a marketing blog in the first place but also places a strong emphasis on SEO as these two are closely tied. If you decide for this one, it’s good to know that articles are well-written and informative and the website is frequently updated. While WooRank doesn’t have that much articles and info on SEO, it still manages to be one of the best SEO websites on our list, and we’re going to see why. We know that The Google Blog isn’t that focused on teaching you about SEO, but it’s more of an informative website. Nevertheless, The Google Blog is frequently updated (on a daily basis) and features some good news from Google, making it a great website for reading news about almost anything, including SEO and technology. WickedFire is a wicked SEO forum, with a nice, badass design and it also uses some explicit language, but that isn’t an issue, right? If you are a newbie, you can find a forum called Newbie Questions, where you can ask whatever you want about tech or SEO. We are glad that they included this, making it even more eligible for learning about SEO and similar stuff.

SEMRush has a full-fledged section devoted to SEO, but it’s primarily the marketing website. Nonetheless, it offers some very useful info on SEO in form of various Blogs that you can read easily or webinars that you can listen and indulge yourself if you are a registered user. What is great here is that you can get a direct help from SEMRush, regarding SEO and marketing. Of course, they come at a certain price which isn’t that high compared to the quality of the service.
18. HigherVisibility
Simplicity is what makes this website unique. At the home page of the website, there are articles scattered around, about everything that involves search engines, tech, and SEO. Sections of the website aren’t numerous but are large. For example, there is “Services” tab, where you can get services like SEO, local SEO, marketing and similar and in “Learn” tab, there is a blog which you can read right away. HigherVisibility can be easily contacted by sending an email or calling them using the number displayed in the top right corner.
19. Conversation Marketing
Just a two years back, Conversation Marketing wasn’t that important website for SEO. But suddenly, it gained huge popularity and is now a very important website for marketing, SEO, and technology. It features a large amount of “how to” articles as well as articles focused on smart SEO/web strategies with some humor here and there. Conversation Marketing is a casual and funny website where you can learn through entertainment.
20. Blogstorm
Blogstorm offers great services when talking about SEO, Paid Media, Digital PR & Social and much more. Aside from that, this website has a beautiful design with lots of useful articles scattered which are informative and well-crafted. Articles are usually about SEO, but there are other interesting topics covered here, which we liked and we’re sure that you will like as well. What’s interesting here is that this website really isn’t that consistent in terms of updating. It updates a few times a month; a not that impressive fact about Blogstorm.
